Experience the very best of Morocco on this carefully curated 9-day journey from Casablanca to Marrakech. This tour is designed for travelers who want to immerse themselves in Morocco’s diverse landscapes, history, and culture — from the Atlantic coast to the golden sands of the Sahara, and from the ancient imperial cities to the majestic Atlas Mountains.
Travel in comfort with your own private driver-guide, enjoy stays in traditional riads and desert camps, and discover Morocco’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Berber villages, and centuries-old medinas at a relaxed pace.
Day 1 – Casablanca ➜ Rabat ➜ Meknes ➜ Fes

Your journey begins in Casablanca, Morocco’s bustling economic capital. After a warm welcome, you’ll enjoy a short panoramic drive, including the option to admire the stunning Hassan II Mosque — one of the largest in the world, perched dramatically over the Atlantic.
We continue along the coast to Rabat, the nation’s political capital, where whitewashed streets lead to the serene Oudayas Kasbah, and the imposing Hassan Tower stands as a symbol of Morocco’s medieval past.
By afternoon, you’ll arrive in Meknes, known for its grand imperial architecture. Explore the majestic Bab Mansour Gate, stroll the medina, and visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.
Your day ends in Fes, where you’ll settle into a charming riad tucked inside the ancient medina. Dinner included.
Day 2 – Exploring the Spiritual Heart of Fes
Today is dedicated to Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and intellectual capital. With your licensed local guide, wander the UNESCO-listed Fes el-Bali,
a living medieval city where narrow alleys hum with artisans hammering copper, tanners coloring leather, and merchants calling from spice-laden stalls.
Visit the Al Quaraouiyine University, the oldest continually operating university in the world, the intricate Bou Inania Madrasa, and the elegant Nejjarine Fountain.
Pause to admire the golden gates of the Royal Palace, explore the old Jewish quarter (Mellah), and perhaps sample traditional Fassi cuisine for lunch.
Return to your riad in the evening, surrounded by the city’s timeless charm.

Day 3 – Fes ➜ Middle Atlas ➜ Ziz Valley ➜ Merzouga

This morning, we head south into Morocco’s diverse landscapes. First stop: Ifrane, nicknamed “Little Switzerland” for its alpine-style houses and pristine streets.
From here, we enter the cedar forests of Azrou, home to playful Barbary macaques.
The scenery shifts as we pass mountain villages and rolling pastures before arriving in Midelt, where you’ll enjoy lunch against a backdrop of the High Atlas.
Crossing the Tizi n’Talghomt Pass (1,907m), we descend into the lush Ziz Valley, a ribbon of green palms cutting through ochre cliffs.
As the day ends, the golden dunes of Merzouga appear on the horizon.
Dinner and overnight in a desert-view hotel.
Day 4 – Merzouga Desert Immersion
A full day to uncover the magic of the Sahara.
Start with a 4×4 excursion to visit nomadic Berber families and share mint tea under their camel-hair tents.
Continue to Taouz to see ancient rock carvings, then on to Khamlia, where Gnawa musicians will enchant you with their hypnotic rhythms over a traditional lunch.
In the late afternoon, mount your camel and ride into the dunes as the sun sinks into a sea of gold.
Your destination: a luxury desert camp where dinner is served under a sky blazing with stars, accompanied by the beat of desert drums.

Day 5 – Merzouga ➜ Rissani ➜ Todra Gorges ➜ Dades Valley

After breakfast, we depart Merzouga for Rissani, birthplace of Morocco’s ruling Alaouite dynasty.
Visit its lively souk and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif before driving toward Todra Gorges.
Here, sheer limestone cliffs rise up to 300 meters, framing a crystal-clear river — a paradise for walkers and climbers alike.
By evening, we reach the Dades Valley, known for its winding roads and “monkey finger” rock formations.
Dinner and overnight in a charming guesthouse with spectacular canyon views.
Day 6 – Dades Valley ➜ Skoura ➜ Ouarzazate ➜ Ait Ben Haddou
Today’s drive is a tapestry of palm oases, kasbahs, and cinematic landscapes.
Pass through Kelaat M’Gouna, heart of the Valley of Roses, and visit a cooperative producing fragrant rosewater.
In Skoura, explore the beautifully preserved Kasbah Amridil, then continue to Ouarzazate to see the Kasbah Taourirt and optional visit to the famous film studios.
We end the day at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed ksar whose sun-baked walls have appeared in films from Gladiator to Game of Thrones.
Dinner and overnight in a traditional kasbah hotel.

Day 7 – Ait Ben Haddou ➜ Telouet ➜ Marrakech

Before leaving, wander the narrow lanes of Ait Ben Haddou in the soft morning light.
Then drive to the less-visited Kasbah Telouet, once the opulent stronghold of the Glaoui family.
We cross the High Atlas Mountains via the winding Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m),
stopping for panoramic views and Berber village photo opportunities.
By evening, we arrive in vibrant Marrakech.
Overnight in a beautifully restored riad.
Day 8 – Discovering Marrakech
A full-day guided exploration of the “Red City.” Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the ornate Bahia Palace, and the richly decorated Saadian Tombs.
Admire the craftsmanship of the Ben Youssef Madrasa, and wander through the colorful souks filled with spices, lanterns, and handmade goods.
Experience the energy of Jemaa el-Fnaa square, where snake charmers, storytellers, and food stalls create an unforgettable atmosphere.
Optional visits include the Majorelle Garden and Menara Gardens.
Return to your riad for the night.
