8 day tour departs and ending in Casablanca, offering the chance to explore Morocco from south to north, concluding in the vibrant city of Tangier, well-connected by air and sea. This thrilling journey takes you through the stunning landscapes of the famous Route of a Thousand Kasbahs, where you’ll admire countless adobe fortresses perched on mountain tops, lush palm groves, and hidden traditional houses.
Trip Itinerary:
Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes
Our staff will pick you up from your hotel or airport to go to the Hassan II Mosque before leaving for Rabat
In Rabat we visit the Mechouar of the Royal Palace, the ruins of Chellah, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V and the Hassan Tower. We eat at noon and we leave for Meknes arriving in the afternoon
Day 2: Meknes – Volubilis – Fes :
Have breakfast in the morning,
visit the city of Meknes where we highlight the huge gate that is the entrance to the old city and the Jewish quarter,
el’Hdim square, Bab El Mansour
, the royal granaries and the city wall. The next stops will be Volubilis, the Roman ruins and Moulay Idriss and the Holy City. Then we take the road to Fez. Dinner and accommodation in a traditional riad.
Day 3: Fez – Guided Tour of Fez:
Today we will dedicate it to visiting the city of Fez,
it is the oldest city of the imperial cities of Morocco since it was the capital of the first Arab dynasty in Morocco.
We will do a tour starting from the Royal Palace,
passing through the Medina and the Medresas (schools), discovering old religious centers, souks occupied by artists, the Jewish quarter, etc.
Day 4: Fez – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga :
We leave Fez and head toward the Middle Atlas Mountains,
with our first stop in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Africa” for its breathtaking alpine landscape. Next, we visit Michlifen to explore the Monkey Forest before continuing to Midelt for lunch. Our journey then takes us to Erfoud,
where we follow an off-road trail toward the golden dunes of Merzouga, passing by the Ziz River, its lush valley, and the impressive Ziz gorges.
Upon arriving in Merzouga, we switch to camels for a magical ride to watch the sunset over the dunes. We’ll spend the night at a desert camp, enjoying a traditional dinner of Tagine,
sipping mint tea, and listening to Berber music beneath a sky full of stars and the radiant glow of the Sahara moon.
Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra – Skoura – Ouarzazate:
This day getting up early is the solution to see the sunrise live on the horizon, a wonderful sight that makes you freak out. Return in the caravan of the dromedaries to the accommodation. We take a comfortable shower and have breakfast. We will stop in Rissani where you can visit its traditional souk that is considered the largest in all of southern Morocco.
In the Todra Gorges,
in the Dades Valley,
in the Rosas Valley and in the Skoura Oasis we often stop to see and notice the difference between the valleys and their characteristic features. Last stop of the trip is Ouarzazate. Dinner and sleep at the agreed hotel.
Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech:
We shower and have breakfast to leave on our trip. Today’s tour will take place between Ouarzazate and Marrakech going through the High Atlas. The trip will be with breaks and stops since on the way there are a lot of things that will call our attention the jungle,
the mountains with very high curves that can reach 2,270 m, the valleys,
the Kasbahs, the curves, the towns, the people how do you dress etc. a very emotional journey that you have never experienced. End of the day in Marrakech.
Day 7: Marrakech – Marrakech :
In the morning, after breakfast, we left to visit the city of Marrakech whose founders are the Almoravids, exactly, in the 11th century.
We will highlight the tower of the koutoubia, built by the Almohadies, the Saadian Tombs,
the Bahia Palace, the Medina and the famous Jemaa el Fná square, where there are crowds of vendors, groups of people surrounded by a storyteller, players with monkeys and snakes burns free, music with dancers, etc.
Day 8: Marrakech – Casablanca – airport:
Free time to go shopping or relax in Marrakech. In the afternoon we left for Casablanca. Transfer to the airport. End of our services:
