From the Atlantic shores to the golden dunes of the Sahara, this 8-day journey takes you deep into Morocco’s diverse landscapes and rich cultural heritage. Travel from the royal cities of the north to the kasbah-studded valleys of the south, ending in the vibrant city of Tangier or returning to Casablanca. Along the way, you’ll discover imperial history, Berber traditions, breathtaking mountain passes, and the magic of the desert under a starlit sky.

Day 1 – Casablanca → Rabat → Meknes

Your journey begins with a pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Casablanca. 

Visit the Hassan II Mosque, a masterpiece of Islamic architecture perched on the Atlantic shore.

Continue to Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital, to explore the Mechouar of the Royal Palace, 

the ruins of Chellah, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, and the Hassan Tower. 

After lunch, drive to Meknes, where you’ll settle into your hotel for the night.

Day 2 – Meknes → Volubilis → Fes

Enjoy breakfast before exploring Meknes’ highlights, including Bab El Mansour, the impressive city

gates, the Jewish Quarter, El Hedim Square, the royal granaries, and city walls. 

Next, visit Volubilis, the well-preserved Roman city with intricate mosaics, 

followed by the sacred town of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun. 

Continue to Fes, arriving in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay in a traditional riad.

Day 3 – Guided Tour of Fes

Spend the day discovering the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco. 

A local guide will lead you through Fes el-Bali, the oldest part of the city, 

visiting the Royal Palace, historical madrasas (religious schools), 

artisan souks, the Jewish quarter, and traditional tanneries. 

Dinner and overnight in your riad.

4 day Tour from Tanger to Desert

Day 4 – Fes → Ifrane → Midelt → Merzouga

Leave Fes and journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, 

nicknamed the “Switzerland of Africa” for its alpine charm. 

Pass through Azrou’s cedar forests, home to Barbary macaque monkeys, 

before continuing to Midelt for lunch. Travel along the Ziz Valley and its lush palm groves to Erfoud,

then switch to camels for a sunset ride across the dunes of Merzouga. 

Overnight in a luxury desert camp with traditional dinner, mint tea, 

Berber music, and a blanket of stars.

 

Day 5 – Merzouga → Rissani → Todra Gorges → Skoura → Ouarzazate

Wake early to watch the Sahara sunrise, then ride camels back to the village for breakfast and a

shower. Visit Rissani’s traditional market, one of the largest in southern Morocco. 

Continue through the spectacular Todra Gorges, 

the Dades Valley, and the fragrant Roses Valley, 

before reaching Skoura Oasis and finally Ouarzazate. 

Dinner and overnight in a comfortable hotel.

Day 6 – Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → High Atlas → Marrakech

After breakfast, explore the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, 

A UNESCO World Heritage site and backdrop for many films. 

Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), 

passing Berber villages and dramatic valleys. 

Arrive in Marrakech in the evening. 

Dinner and overnight in a riad.

Day 7 – Full Day in Marrakech

Discover the “Red City” with visits to the Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, 

Bahia Palace, and the bustling souks. 

In the evening, experience the vibrant Jemaa el-Fna Square, 

alive with storytellers, musicians, and food stalls. 

Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 8 – Marrakech → Casablanca (Airport)

Enjoy free time in Marrakech for shopping or relaxation before traveling back to Casablanca 

for your departure flight.
