Depart from Tangier and travel toward Meknes, stopping first at the UNESCO-listed
Roman ruins of Volubilis to explore its ancient mosaics and architecture.
Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, to visit the Moulay Ismail
Mausoleum and other key landmarks.
Drive through the cedar forests of Azrou and the Berber village of Zaida before
reaching Midelt, where you will spend the night in a comfortable hotel.
After breakfast, continue south through the stunning Ziz Valley and
the city of Errachidia. Stop in Erfoud, famous for its fossils and dates,
before heading into the vast desert landscapes of Merzouga. Upon arrival,
mount your camel for a trek across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes,
enjoying a spectacular sunset along the way. Arrive at your desert camp
for a traditional dinner, live Berber music around the campfire,
and a night under a blanket of stars.
Wake up early to watch the magical sunrise over the dunes,
then return by camel to Merzouga village.
Visit the village of Khamlia, known for its Gnaoua musicians,
and explore the desert’s seasonal lake (if present). Continue to Rissani,
where you can discover its traditional market and visit the Mausoleum
of Moulay Ali Cherif. Travel back through the Ziz Valley and Midelt,
then proceed to Fes, where you will enjoy dinner
and an overnight stay in a charming riad.
In the morning, explore the highlights of Fes Medina,
including its panoramic viewpoints.
Then journey through the Rif Mountains to the enchanting blue town of Chefchaouen.
Enjoy free time to wander its blue-washed streets before continuing to Tangier.
End of the tour with drop-off at your hotel or Tangier Airport.

On your 4-day desert trip from Marrakech, Pick up at your hotel in Marrakech at 8:30 a.m. and start of the route. Departure from Marrakech via the Col Tichka mountain pass, where we will cross the Atlas Mountains, making stops to enjoy the magnificent views that the route has in store for us and to rest or take photos whenever you feel like it. Continuation to Ouarzazate, where we will contemplate the Kasbah of Taourirt. We continue the route, meeting the town of Skoura, located in the heart of the valley of palm trees, an extensive and labyrinthine oasis whose exuberant vegetation covers beautiful secret kasbahs. We will take a 4×4 tour through the Skoura palm grove and we will also visit its Amerdil Kasbah. . From here, we will continue through the Valley of Roses (famous for their cultivation) until we reach the impressive Dades gorges. Dinner and overnight at the Dades Hotel.
After breakfast, we will continue along the banks of Boulmane, where a road opens up dotted with kasbahs (fortresses or castles) and ksour (fortified citadels), whose landscape is ocher, red, and mauve. Around us, we will find stony plateaus where dromedaries graze. After a journey full of ksour, oases, and palm trees, we will arrive at Tineghir (where the spectacular Todra gorges are located), perched at 1,350 m altitude and surrounded by a palm grove. We continue towards Erfoud (city of fossils) and then we will arrive at Rissani, with its interesting market, where nomads from the surrounding area come to sell their livestock and buy the belongings they need. Finally, we will arrive in Merzouga, in front of the high dunes of Erg Chebbi. In the afternoon, the dromedaries await us and we will enter the desert while the sun sets, until we reach the tent camp in the middle of the high dune desert, where we will spend the night in a tent. Dinner and night in a camp under the desert stars.
In the morning, after breakfast, we will return by camel to the town and meet the driver to visit Khamlia, a town originally from Mali, where we will relax with tea while enjoying a small concert of Gnawa music. Before leaving Merzouga,
We will take a short tour of the Erg Chebbi in 4×4, an extension of sand desert where the Great Dune of Morocco is located, more than 250 meters high. connecting by track with part of the route followed
by the old Paris-Dakar
and with the mountains that border Algeria in the background. Stop at a panoramic point where you can contemplate the Erg Chebbi as a whole. The rest of the day we will use to return to Ouarzazate through the Draa Valley, one of the longest rivers in Morocco. Stop to admire the charming adobe kasbahs and Berber villages that dot the route and the interesting geological formations of the Draa Valley. Dinner and night in Ouarzazate.
Ouarzazate is also known as the Holliwood of Morocco, as many famous films have been filmed there (The Jewel of the Nile, The Scorpion King, Kingdom of Heaven, Mission Cleopatra, etc.) and continue to be filmed. If you like cinema, you can visit the film studios where the sets for some of these films are located. Then heading north, detouring along a 6 km track that will take us to the town of Ait Ben Haddou, where we will visit its Kasbah (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO). In this spectacular setting, renowned films such as Gladiator and The Jewel of the Nile have been filmed.
