enjoying-morocco

Experience the magic of Morocco on this 4-day private desert adventure from Marrakech to the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. This journey blends dramatic landscapes, ancient kasbahs, lush valleys, and the unforgettable charm of the Sahara. You’ll spend two nights in the desert — one in a hotel near the spectacular Dades Gorges and one under the stars in a desert camp — all while traveling in comfort with your own private driver-guide.

Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Valley of Roses – Dades Gorges (325 km)

Depart Marrakech at 8:30 a.m. and travel through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m).

Along the way, enjoy panoramic stops in Berber villages, and visit the Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate.

Continue through the lush Skoura palm grove with a 4×4 tour and visit the Kasbah Amridil, one of the most beautiful in Morocco.

The route then takes you through the fragrant Valley of Roses, ending at the stunning Dades Gorges where you’ll have dinner and spend the night in a local hotel or riad.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga (266 km)

4 Days trom Fes desert Tour

After breakfast, journey through dramatic desert plateaus dotted with ksour (fortified villages), oasis towns, and grazing camels. Visit the breathtaking Todra Gorges, surrounded by towering red cliffs and palm groves.

Continue to Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops, then on to Rissani, home to a traditional market where desert nomads trade goods.

Arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon and meet your camel caravan for a magical ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset. Dinner and overnight at a desert camp, under the stars of the Sahara.

Day 3: Merzouga – Khamlia – Nkob – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate (370 km)

Wake early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, then return by camel to Merzouga for breakfast. Visit Khamlia, a village known for its Gnawa music and warm hospitality.

Then take a short 4×4 tour around the dunes of Erg Chebbi, including a stop at a panoramic viewpoint.

Follow a scenic route once used in the Paris-Dakar Rally, then travel through the expansive Draa Valley, home to Morocco’s longest river.

Along the way, see charming kasbahs, Berber villages, and incredible geological formations. Arrive in Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight stay in a riad or hotel.
