Departure from Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260 m), enjoying panoramic views of Berber villages.
Visit Telouet Kasbah, then continue to Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco’s most iconic ksar and a filming location for many Hollywood movies.
After a guided visit, head to Ouarzazate to explore the Taourirt Kasbah and film studios.
Pass through Skoura and visit the Amridil Kasbah before reaching the Valley of Roses and Dades Gorges.
Overnight in a guesthouse with a local Berber family.
After breakfast, head to Todra Gorges via Tinghir. Enjoy a walk near the river nestled between dramatic cliffs.
Continue through Tinjdad and Erfoud, known for fossil workshops, before reaching Merzouga.
Enjoy a welcoming mint tea before starting a camel trek into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Watch the sunset from the dunes and spend the night under the stars in a nomadic-style tented camp with dinner and music.
Begin with a sunrise camel ride back to the village.
After breakfast, hop into a 4×4 to visit nomadic families in the black desert, see Dayet Srij Lake (if seasonal),
and explore the village of Khamlia, home to the Gnawa people, where you’ll enjoy traditional music.
After lunch, return to Merzouga, and take a second camel ride into the dunes for another night at the desert camp.
Leave Merzouga after breakfast and stop at Rissani to visit the traditional market and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif.
Travel through Erfoud and the Ziz Valley, a scenic oasis with thousands of date palms.
Lunch in Midelt, then cross the Middle Atlas Mountains.
Visit Azrou’s cedar forest to meet the Barbary macaques and continue via Ifrane, the “Switzerland of Morocco,” to Fes.
Dinner and overnight in a charming riad.
Enjoy a full-day guided tour of Fes, one of the world’s oldest and most authentic medieval cities.
Visit the Royal Palace, Jewish Quarter (Mellah), Al-Qarawiyyin University (the oldest in the world),
Bou Inania Madrasa, tanneries, artisan quarters, and panoramic viewpoints.
Overnight in the medina.
After breakfast, drive to Meknes, another imperial city, to visit Bab Mansour Gate, Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, and the royal granaries.
Continue to the Roman ruins of Volubilis for a guided tour.
Later, enjoy scenic views of the Rif Mountains en route to the enchanting blue city of Chefchaouen.
Overnight in a cozy riad in the medina.
Free time to explore the charming streets of Chefchaouen before heading north.
Stop in Tetouan for a short visit, then continue to Tangier.
Visit the Kasbah, the medina, and Cap Spartel.
Overnight in a comfortable hotel.
After breakfast, explore the caves of Hercules near Cap Spartel,
then travel along the Atlantic coast to Asilah, a quaint seaside town known for its whitewashed walls
and colorful street art.
Continue to Rabat to visit Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Udayas.
Dinner and overnight in Rabat.
Head to Casablanca to visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque by the sea.
Then travel along the scenic coast through El Jadida, Oualidia,
and Safi before reaching the laid-back town of Essaouira.
Overnight in a riad inside the medina.
Explore Essaouira’s vibrant medina, harbor, Skala fortifications, and artisan shops.
After lunch, depart for Marrakech with a stop at an Argan oil cooperative run by Berber women.

On your 4-day desert trip from Marrakech, Pick up at your hotel in Marrakech at 8:30 a.m. and start of the route. Departure from Marrakech via the Col Tichka mountain pass, where we will cross the Atlas Mountains, making stops to enjoy the magnificent views that the route has in store for us and to rest or take photos whenever you feel like it. Continuation to Ouarzazate, where we will contemplate the Kasbah of Taourirt. We continue the route, meeting the town of Skoura, located in the heart of the valley of palm trees, an extensive and labyrinthine oasis whose exuberant vegetation covers beautiful secret kasbahs. We will take a 4×4 tour through the Skoura palm grove and we will also visit its Amerdil Kasbah. . From here, we will continue through the Valley of Roses (famous for their cultivation) until we reach the impressive Dades gorges. Dinner and overnight at the Dades Hotel.
After breakfast, we will continue along the banks of Boulmane, where a road opens up dotted with kasbahs (fortresses or castles) and ksour (fortified citadels), whose landscape is ocher, red, and mauve. Around us, we will find stony plateaus where dromedaries graze. After a journey full of ksour, oases, and palm trees, we will arrive at Tineghir (where the spectacular Todra gorges are located), perched at 1,350 m altitude and surrounded by a palm grove. We continue towards Erfoud (city of fossils) and then we will arrive at Rissani, with its interesting market, where nomads from the surrounding area come to sell their livestock and buy the belongings they need. Finally, we will arrive in Merzouga, in front of the high dunes of Erg Chebbi. In the afternoon, the dromedaries await us and we will enter the desert while the sun sets, until we reach the tent camp in the middle of the high dune desert, where we will spend the night in a tent. Dinner and night in a camp under the desert stars.
In the morning, after breakfast, we will return by camel to the town and meet the driver to visit Khamlia, a town originally from Mali, where we will relax with tea while enjoying a small concert of Gnawa music. Before leaving Merzouga,
We will take a short tour of the Erg Chebbi in 4×4, an extension of sand desert where the Great Dune of Morocco is located, more than 250 meters high. connecting by track with part of the route followed
by the old Paris-Dakar
and with the mountains that border Algeria in the background. Stop at a panoramic point where you can contemplate the Erg Chebbi as a whole. The rest of the day we will use to return to Ouarzazate through the Draa Valley, one of the longest rivers in Morocco. Stop to admire the charming adobe kasbahs and Berber villages that dot the route and the interesting geological formations of the Draa Valley. Dinner and night in Ouarzazate.
Ouarzazate is also known as the Holliwood of Morocco, as many famous films have been filmed there (The Jewel of the Nile, The Scorpion King, Kingdom of Heaven, Mission Cleopatra, etc.) and continue to be filmed. If you like cinema, you can visit the film studios where the sets for some of these films are located. Then heading north, detouring along a 6 km track that will take us to the town of Ait Ben Haddou, where we will visit its Kasbah (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO). In this spectacular setting, renowned films such as Gladiator and The Jewel of the Nile have been filmed. Lunch in the town and Continue We will cross the Great Atlas Mountains again, with their beautiful landscapes.
